Logo refresh & social media campaign. 45 years of personal service.
The brief
Tracy Bouras (co-owner of family-owned business, The Paper Shop) wanted to market their business to other designers and key players, therefore asking for our input. We realised that she needed a more comprehensive strategy and created a six-phase strategy to be implemented over more or less 6 months. This post discusses phase 1: Logo refresh and social streamlining.
The concept
The existing logo is a very simple typographic solution consisting only of Helvetica in two font weights. We loved the simplicity and only added four small blocks at the end, indicating CMYK colour separation used during litho printing. To streamline the logo for social media usage, we designed a stacked version with different colour backgrounds, keeping within the CMYK-theme.
A supporting logo was created to emphasise the long history of The Paper Shop in the business of printing. The Est.’75 logo draws in all the elements of the main logo and can be used with or without the main logo and still forms a part of the whole.
Social media
Unfold did a photoshoot at The Paper Shop factory. We compiled a package of text and images, therefore giving The Paper Shop a kickstart on social media. A video was also compiled for use on social media as well as their website.
