Waci Health is growing from an organisation rooted in HIV and TB activism to one that focuses on broader healthcare access and advocacy in Africa. Unfold was tasked to create a new visual identity for Waci Health that reflects this change.
The new logo is built from simple shapes to form a unique wordmark. Two versions of their logo make it easy to apply in different contexts. Unfold came up with a new tagline that aligns with their new vision.
Warm colours progress from a deep red, present in their original logo, through orange and ochre to an optimistic yellow. The warm colours are deeply rooted in Africa and speak of change and growth. The colder secondary palette compliments the warm primary colour set and provides the client with various colours to work with. An application of this can be seen in the custom-designed icons.
Waci Health received a brand guide explaining how to use the new logo, colours, and fonts. Layout examples, social media posts and custom icons show how the elements are combined for a unified look.
